Hello Dear Ones,
As we move into the week of Valentine’s Day, often—especially if you are not in a relationship—this week and the day itself cause a lot of stress, anxiety, and spark feelings of loneliness.
While this is a stressful time, I feel that it is a great moment to take stock of what you are doing in terms of self-love and self-care. Whether you are single or with someone(s), what are you doing to manifest the relationship you want?
- Are you dating yourself?
Eating on your couch isn’t a “date night.” Make the effort and take yourself out to dinner, a movie, and to the places you’d like to go on a date. - Would you let a partner talk to yourself the way you speak to yourself every day?
The tape in our head often tells us things we’d “never let someone else say to us.” For those in relationships, are you letting a partner get away with saying “those things” that we thought we’d never let someone else say to us? Conversely, are you saying things to your partner that are “those things?” - Are you building a better you?
Classes, sports, activities, healthy eating, changing habits that are hurting yourself, those are just some of the many ways that we look at who we are and evolve ourselves into a better self over time. The goal isn’t to become perfect, but to become the best version of ourselves that we can be. - Have you made room in your life for a partner?
Working late every Friday night, no room for anyone else in your space, creating a life not meant to be shared but lived in solitude. Creating space in our schedules, our spaces, and our lives allows opportunity to knock. - Do you feel you are deserving, worthy, of having your needs and wants met?
Probably most important in this list, whether your are single or in a relationship, is understanding the importance of having self-worth. People who settle do so because they often feel they are unworthy of more.
So, as those flowers and candy pass you, not necessarily sent out of love, but because it was expected (or worse, sent solely in anticipation of getting something out of it), ask yourself do you want someone that sends you flowers and special chocolates because the calendar dictates it? As a transaction with strings attached? Or because the person sending those cares, because they want to do so, because they are expressing what they feel?
Don’t forget, my schedule for the week is below, and I’m ready to help you manifest your best relationship! Are you ready?
Astrological Forecast
Feb 15 — Venus in Pisces conjunct Neptune in Pisces
A sentimental aspect that allows us to romanticize our dreams. However, we’ll be a little tender and feelings can easily be shattered by careless people.
Feb 16 — Pallas goes direct in Cancer
After a few shaky months, we’re finally heading back to our roots when asteroid Pallas goes direct in Cancer. It’s a good time to gain wisdom from our elders and decorate our space with art.
Feb 16 — Sun in Aquarius conjunct with Saturn in Aquarius
This is a highly productive aspect for getting work done—however, try not to bite off more than you can chew before the weekend. Steer away from pushing your agenda with authority figures.
Feb 17 — Mercury in Aquarius sextile Jupiter in Aries
Teamwork makes the dream work during this positive aspect. The secret lies in figuring out all the details before making any major decisions.
Feb 18 — Sun enters Pisces
Thawing out from the winter cold, we’re ready to feel again when the sun shines on Pisces. For the next four weeks, the energy will be compassionate and gentle, but a little hazy as we move from winter to spring.
Angel of the Week: Rosetta
You have a gift for working with young people, and your Divine purpose involves helping, teaching, or parenting children.
Children respond to your openhearted nature. You are also charmed by their straight-forward honesty, laughter, and innocence. In many ways, they engage and heal your own inner child. You seek to give these children that which you desired when you were young. You also feel an inner calling to improve the lives of children, and you may wonder about the best way to proceed.
I am with you as a guardian angel who delights in bringing you new opportunities to help children. All you need to do is notice the young people whom I bring into your orbit. Be your delightful self with these children, and the rest will take care of itself. As soon as you’re ready for an increased role, please say the word to me, and I will increase the number of lives you touch. Please be assured that I understand your temperament and will only bring you to situations that match your passions, talents, and interests. You are a blessing to children everywhere!
